Her legacy
Never Alone - Barlowgirl - My Song to Amanda

I waited for you today,
But you didn't show.
I needed you today,
So where did you go?

You told me to call.
Said you'd be there.
And though I haven't seen you,
Are you still there?

I cried out with no reply.
And I can't feel you by my side.
So I'll hold on to what I know.
You're here, and I'm never alone.

And though I cannot see you,
And I can't explain why.
Such a deep, deep reassurance
You've placed in my life.

We cannot seperate,
'Cause you're part of me.
And though you're invisible,
I'll trust the unseen.

I cried out to your reply.
And I can feel you by my side.
So I'll hold tight to what I know.
You're here, and I'm NEVER ALONE.

What My Friends and Family Said In My Memory....

On Amanda's 21st Birthday, my Mom, Amanda's Grandmother, wrote:

"I teased you often about not getting your own house key until you were 21. Who was to know, but God, that on your 21st Birthday you would already have your own
set of keys that opens the door to a much bigger and better "House". Leave the
porch light on for me....

Love Forever,
Grandma"

With tearful eyes we watched you improve.
But suddenly you were taken away.
And though we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating.
Hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the BEST!!!

"Thirteen years under our belt; there will never be another like you."
- Cheria (Best Friend)

"I thought I heard you laugh today, so I turned to see you smile. You'll always be in
my heart as well as my mind."
- Daniel Dewey (Friend)

"My sister is in my sight and mind. She will forever be in my heart."
- Joey (Brother)

"We all love you."
- Lillie Smith (CEC Evening High School)

"Amanda has been my best friend for 11 years.
I'll never forget the enjoyable times we had together."
- Worm (Friend)

"We were closer than sisters, tighter than friends."
- Crystal (Friend)

"Goodbye to a special friend, hello to an adored angel."
Tina and Lisa (Friends)

"You touched a lot of hearts the last few weeks, such a special person. You have
done your job here and earned your wings and halo."

"I know I shouldn't say, "what if" or "if only", but you know, I love you so much and I'm so sorry....
- Mommy
